![]() Note grondoval's comment below about using area effect powers because it plays off his tree. So then next I would say is the guide to stats and trees which to some degree is more important than the powers. You will over time get to understand parts better. So the first one to use is his character builder one I will have to say reading through is not intuitive so go back to it every so often as you build and play. IIRC, Laser Knight procs off melee attacks, so HW will cause that to come up. As far as flat damage reduction goes, Invulnerability is better earlier on, but once youve got full Defiance stacks running your DR is higher than what you can get with Invulnerability, plus you get energy return. I noticed the timestamp on the powers one was real recent so he seems to actively update his stuff. Back when I played, I think Defiance was the go to. So basically this one guy on steam has several neat guides. This is not builds but information from building. ![]() I just got a character to 40 and I was even thinking about posting a psa on character creation. Note that characters on PTS cannot be copied back to the "normal" public server however, what you learn from playing in PTS will help you in the normal game (esp. If you have access to the Public Test Server (subscribers only), you can copy a character to the PTS and make as many changes as you want (from what I hear, it is free to ret-con). Note that my PA hero uses all three "beam"/"laser" powers that have AoE (linear AoE) so that builds off of some specializations that tick up the damage for AoE (like Locus from the Guardian tree, etc.). Having Endurance (more energy) or Intelligence (powers use less energy) as your primary Super-Stat and the other as a Secondary Super-Stat should let you use those powers repeatedly. ![]() Meaning you should have a power on the Eye, Shoulder, and Chest slots. Power Armor powers are designed to operate "3 at once". Energy gain is reduced while they are deployed though. Healing Bots - Handy if you want to heal without stopping your attacks to do so. Resurrection Potion (← not sure about name) - Revives other heroes (not you) and has a swift 15 sec. (Gadgeteering esp.) but don't be afraid to slot one of the Infernal powers to self-revive (4 minute cooldown, but worth it if you build a hero well). Even the Commander specialization tree won't help.įor Gadgeteering and Power Armor, there are some useful powers. ![]() Be aware that a pet build is fun, but will be instantly shut-down in some custom alerts (notably FATAL ERROR: Cybermind) because pets are slaughtered easily. ![]()
